Mr. Michael has served as PEL Castro Valley Instructor since 2015. He holds an Electrical Engineering degree from San Jose State University and an MBA degree from Santa Clara University. He has extensive experience as Technical Manager in various tech companies.
Michael has over 10 years of experience in education, working with children to improve their Math and English Language Arts abilities. During that time, he experienced firsthand how PEL transforms a child’s character and leads to academic success. He is passionate and excited about education.
Michael believes that the PEL program can help your child achieve his/her full potential.
Ms. Angela Chen brings a wealth of teaching experience and a genuine passion for education to our team. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Education and has taught in a variety of learning environments — from an international school overseas to elementary schools in San Francisco, and adult education programs. Angela’s diverse teaching experience reflects her passion for lifelong learning and her ability to connect with students from all walks of life.
In addition to her classroom experience, Angela has worked closely with school districts across California since 2019 as a consultant and trainer. In this role, she collaborates with district leaders to review student learning data, design plans to support student success, and provide professional development for teachers. Her work ensures that schools have the tools and strategies they need to help students succeed.
Now, as a valued coach at PEL Learning Center – Castro Valley, Ms. Angela brings her extraordinary blend of classroom experience and her passion and expertise in education to support students in reaching their fullest potential.
